Treasure Hunt!
Today I went on a scavenger hunt - check out all the cool stuff I found!
First, I found the sun. I know I know, that's an easy one but sometimes when I go outside it isn't there. So, I figure it's worth at least one point. Next, I found a pretty big stick. Tasty, but a little dry - only worth one point. Then I found a tennis ball. That's a solid 2 points even though it was all dirty. Then, I found a bug. My dad tried to take a picture of it, but I kept getting in the way. Bugs are worth 3 points since they move.
I discovered a pine cone tree. Pine cones are only one point each, but there were lots of them. 10 points in all! After that I found another stick, this one bigger and tastier than the first. One more point.
Then I walked through a section of tall grass and found a spot to rest my paws for a while. No points for tall grass. Naps in the sun - priceless.
Then, a little while later, I found a freeway. There were too many cars to count, so I figure I should allocate about 4 points to myself.
Next, as I circled back into the park, I found someone's bed! It was pretty comfy, but I like mine better. Whoever sleeps here left some stuff behind. I found that too. L.A. Motel = 6 points.
Then I reported back to the dog meeting area to see how my 28 points would fare. I thought I did pretty good, but apparently Team Chihuahua raided a laundromat and came back with 52 points worth of socks. Oh well, I had fun anyway.
It was such a long afternoon of sniffing around, I was falling asleep on the 5 minute ride home!

Bully Brawl
In honor of Andy Kaufman I entered the dog park's 1st ever Inter-Gender Wrestling Championship.
I've decided to wrestle Ruby at the park. She put up a good fight. I tried my pin-down move on her but she was just too darn wiggly!

Cookie Monster
Mom made me Peanut Butter and Applesauce Cookies and I've gone gaga over them. I don't think I'll ever go back to my dry bland store bought treats!

Fieldtrip
I went for a ride on my personal doggie limo and took a field trip to Pasadena's Old Town. While my folks drank their coffee I leisurely people watched and got free head rubs from strangers.
I will take massages from anyone-- specially from little humans with fingers that smell like pretzels and cherrios.
The highlight of the trip was to my Favorite bakery called the Three Dog Bakery where my Jedi mind trick never fails!: "You WILL buy me a treat"
