Head Rest
I'm a keen proponent of items that have dual purposes. Take Dad's face for example. Great for licking (specially when he's done eating) but did you know they're also great ottomans for your chin!

You know, my did isn't really a licker. He does wipe my face with a wet washcloth sometimes - I guess that is like licking - and I sorta tolerate it because, well, he also happens to be a kibble-master.
As for headresting... eh, its been too warm out lately. I'd probably let him rest his head on me for a bit - as long as I didn't have to move.

That is one of my favorite tactics. If you lie over the human's mouth, it keeps him from disturbing your slumber with his yapping.

Thank goodness the Brody Miester decided to rest his chin there instead of something else. The Human ottoman got off lucky!
